Role Overview:

As an Event Cook, you'll craft high-quality dishes in line with our distinguished standards. Your role is crucial in maintaining our reputation by ensuring delicious, beautifully presented food.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook food following specific recipes and instructions.
  • Assist in various stages of event food preparation.
  • Manage food quality, from ingredient prep to final presentation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
  • Comply with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven culinary expertise, including knowledge of international cuisines.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Proficiency in knife handling and kitchen equipment.
  • High professionalism and ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and handle physical tasks (lifting 20-50 lbs).
Work Environment:
  • Fast-paced and noisy.
  • Exposure to various temperatures and conditions.
  • Handling of cleaning agents.
Requirements:
  • Valid Food Handler’s Card (California Health Department).
  • Professional appearance and adherence to uniform standards.
  • At least 1 year of kitchen experience.
  • Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
  • Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed.
