Event Production Assistant
The Event Production Assistant supports the planning and execution of Très LA Catering events by assisting with logistics, event documentation, vendor coordination, and onsite event oversight. This role works closely with the Event Production, Sales, and Culinary teams to ensure that events are organized, well communicated, and executed to Très LA’s standards of hospitality and operational excellence.

Essential Functions
- Assist with production for all events
- Support the Event Production and Culinary Team with event planning, logistics, and production coordination.
- Assist in preparing, reviewing, and distributing Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and event documentation.
- Coordinate rental orders including kitchen equipment, furniture, vessels, and specialty items.
- Maintain organized records of event documents, timelines, layouts, and production notes.
- Communicate event logistics internally with staffing, culinary, beverage, and operations teams.
- Assist with vendor communication and ensure vendors have accurate production details.
- Attend event walkthroughs with clients when needed.
- Assist with preparation of event layouts, timelines, and operational notes.
- Track event logistics including equipment needs, staffing coordination, and production schedules.
- Provide onsite support during events, assisting with team coordination, setup logistics, and troubleshooting.
- Oversee portions of event execution onsite when assigned, ensuring timing, staffing coordination, and service flow remain on track.
- Serve as an onsite point of contact for staff and vendors as directed by the production team.
- Assist with preparation and coordination of client tastings.
- Attend internal production meetings and assist with follow up tasks.
- Support the production team with errands, preparation tasks, and operational needs leading up to events.
- Organize and prepare Captain binders
Knowledge and Skills
- Prior experience in catering, hospitality, or event production environments.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills when working with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Ability to stay organized and solutions focused in fast paced environments.
- Understanding of event logistics including rentals, timelines, and staffing coordination.
- Attention to detail and ability to anticipate production needs.
- Comfortable supporting onsite event execution and assisting with team oversight.
- Ability to collaborate with multiple departments in a dynamic hospitality environment.
- Experience with BEO platforms or event management software (TripleSeat or similar) is a plus.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in Event Production
- 3+ years of experience in hospitality/food & beverage
- Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality is a plus
- Experience working with TripleSeat is a plus
- Must be computer proficient, with knowledge of the Google Suite
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills.
