Compensation: $25 - $28 depending on experience
We’re looking for a seasoned Line Cook to join our team for a special high-profile event during Monterey Car Week. This is a fast-paced, high-stakes catering environment where precision, professionalism, and presentation matter.
What we’re looking for:
- Skilled in oyster shucking and raw bar prep — must move quickly and cleanly under pressure
- Strong catering experience with a focus on high-volume, high-end events
- Ability to follow chef direction with speed, consistency, and attention to detail
- Comfort with both hot line and cold station prep, plating, and service support
- Clean, organized, and guest-aware even when behind the scenes
- Strong knife skills, sanitation knowledge, and commitment to food safety
What to expect:
- You'll be working as part of a tight, professional culinary team for a luxury automotive client
- Expect long hours on your feet, sharp timelines, and a standard of excellence across the board
- This is a client-facing event — polished appearance and demeanor are key, even if you're behind the line
Job Types: Temporary, Contract
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 30 per week
